Visiting Games Workshop

I went to the Games Workshop after to class to get more information on Warhammer. I talked to the staff there who told me there are two worlds within Warhammer (Warhammer: Age of Sigmar and Warhammer: 40,000) and they also are licensed for The Hobbit.

Warhammer 40,000 is a more sci-fi world whereas Age of Sigmar is fantasy. I want to explore Age of Sigma for my collectible.

Under Age of Sigmar there are different alliances; Chaos, Death, Destruction and Order. I will need to research into these alliances further to see what kind of characters they have and if I want to create a character to suit that alliance. I will also think about creating a new alliance too as this could be an interesting path to take.

Games Workshop:
Miniatures

I like how the miniatures have bases they stand on. I could dress them up to look realistic and to match my collectible's atheistic. The assigned colour for each team is also a good way to for players to identify their team easily.

Packaging:
The data cards next to the smaller miniatures. The packaging is about the same size. The data cards packaging is cardboard and the miniatures is plastic.
Smaller miniatures are sold in less detailed packages. The packaging is plastic with basic imagery on the front and a clear plastic back to see the model kit inside.
I wasn't sure what was in these brief case type cases but I thought it could be an idea for my packaging.

Extras:

Game cards with instructions on them. Could be an extra element to my collectible.
Imagery style seen on their posters, packaging and books.
